The American Legion of Arkansas & the Military Relations Committee of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce cordially invite you to attend a special memorial observance Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.. The ceremony is designed to honor the memory of all military personnel from the state killed during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Memorial Services will be held at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery located at 1501 W. Maryland Avenue, north of the North Little Rock Airport. All veterans and military personnel are invited to attend and the public is encouraged to share in this memorable occasion. If you have any questions or concerns please call 501-247-4765. Before the event begins, we would like to line Maryland Avenue with RED, WHITE & BLUE! This is your BIG chance to show your true American Spirit! The event begins at 11:00 a.m., BUT we want to show our appreciation by arriving by 10:30 a.m.. Bring your AMERICAN FLAGS, large & small and wear your patriotic colors!!
(Directions: Take Hwy. 107 North (JFK Blvd.) into Sherwood, past Kiehl Avenue to the next major intersection - Maryland Avenue. Turn left onto Maryland Avenue West and drive towards the NLR Airport.)
