We just received confirmation that Mayor Hays has accepted our invitation to join Ward 4 Aldermen Hight & Witcher in attending our scheduled quarterly meeting of the Northeast Lakewood Associated Neighborhoods (Lakewood Northeast & Lakewood Heights), a North Little Rock Neighborhood Association:

In addition to our normal NLAN business matters being addressed the meeting agenda will provide Mayor Hays the opportunity to bring before us the current position on his purposed additional sales tax package development. Additionally we will be interested in hearing comment from both our Aldermen regarding their position on this topic. Thereafter we will have a Q & A session with the hope that by seeking explanations and answers we will gain an understanding on exactly what Mayor Hays' tax position is, and in return be prepared to provide our comments to him on this subject.
Our NLAN Newsletter should be hitting your mailboxes on Friday the 2nd. In addition to offering an April 28th City Council Meeting update and a Neighborhood Crime & Safety Report it will also contain a more complete detail of our May meeting's agenda.
Please make plans now to attend your NLAN Meeting on this coming Monday evening - it promises to be very interesting and informative. We'll be meeting and greeting at 6:30 PM - hope to see you in school!
