This could possibly be the most important City Council Meeting this year.
With the Public Hearing for the Sales tax proposal on the adgenda and other wording in this adgenda, this could come to a vote Monday night. We need to All show up and those of you who are good at speaking in public need to step up and DO IT!. We need numbers folks, Numbers of people there even if we have to stand in the lobby or outside. We need to show up at least, and show these guys we stand united no matter our petty differences. This is one thing we all can do and need to do TOGETHER! Some of this reads as if the more controversial stuff is already a done deal. Mayor Haze would like nothing more than to get this all done in short order and get it to ballot in a special election, and it needs to be stopped before it gets that far. We cannot let this Tax increase pass in its current form.
