October 29th Meeting

THANK YOU for taking time to participate in the first "Northeast Lakewood Associated Neighborhoods" meeting October 29th. We were pleased to have Aldermen Murry Witcher, Charlie Hight, Neil Bryant and Alderwoman Debi Ross, Neighborhood Services Director Dan Scott and Officer Tommy Norman involved with our meeting. Sixty three people attended -- and with your help -- even more will attend the upcoming meeting December 3rd at the Lakewood Property Owners Association Activity Center at 7:00PM. It is on the hill by the swimming lake and tennis courts at 4500 Lakeshore.

Yes, the "Northeast Lakewood Associated Neighborhoods" Association started off with a big attendance bang! Together with the Oct. 29th and Dec. 3rd meetings we have 52 properties represented. Stay tuned for details on our up-coming January Meeting. We want to start off the new year with your approval of the association's by-laws, one-year term election of officers, and to address all current as well as future concerns for our neighborhood.

"United we stand - divided we fall". That loud cry helped our young country to come together in facing its difficulties, allowing it the opportunity to grow and develop strength! May we hear that same cry today, allowing our young neighborhood association the opportunity to also come together to be a strong voice in all issues we will collectively encounter, which will affect our neighborhood's fabric and it's quality of life!
